I went to the sprint store and without turning the phone on, explained the sync issue, plus just yesterday it stopped charging also.
They said it was wear and tear, so I would need to insurance claim as a damaged phone.
I wasn't in the mmod to argue so I just left and that's when I called Asurion and checked the deductable = $100, so I said screw it and bought a touch pro on e-bay.
