Any way to activate microphone while connected to wired or wireless headphone?
Has anyone found an app or hack or a ROM that can allow you to use the phone's built in microphone while the headphone jack or wireless a2dp stereo headset is in use?
By default, the microphone becomes disabled.
I would like to be able to plug my Diamond into the aux input jack of my car and be able to use it as a handsfree speakerphone device with the callers voice playing externally over the car stereo, but still be able to talk to the caller without need of a separate microphone.
Is this possible in any way?
A2DP connection would be great if the microphone can remain enabled, so I wouldn't need to deal with the dongle, but I would gladly settle with using a wire in the 3.5MM jack in the dongle, if it worked the way I want.
