Telus told me to upgrade
Hi, I called Telus yesterday do get something changed on my plan, and the Telus rep told me that my Diamond needed to do a software upgrade.
I flashed a Mighty ROM a while back, and I haven't been re-flashing with new versions or anything - I have been happy with what my phone can do, and it's not really something I need to devote all my time to.
However, if there are necessary upgrades I have to be doing, I wanted to get some advice from the experts, if I could. I figure that I shouldn't try the software upgrade from the Telus site, since I am not using the stock ROM, but I have noticed that sometimes calls don't go through, and sometimes incoming calls don't even register on my Missed Calls, and those are symptoms that the Telus rep said the upgrade would fix.
Can anyone tell me more about this, and what my next move should be?
