Re: Need help, htc diamond wont active sync
I just RAR'd the Sprint .nbh file to see how big it is once compressed, it's still about 96mb. Not sure that's easily emailable. Is there any chance you have bluetooth on your pc? That might be a way to transfer the file without the USB access. I just tried it on mine (set the Bluetooth settings to allow FTP explorer and changed the folder it went to to Internal Storage). Took a while but it successfully went then I opened PocketRAR and extracted it.

I finally extracted it to my pc then uploaded it to rapidshare, emailed to myself, downloaded to my phone ( renamed before I downloaded it) then tried to do a flash now its stuck, the message I see
Upgrade ROM code error please try again When I flash it it goes to about 99% and it stops there THanks |

Re: Need help, htc diamond wont active sync
What a nightmare huh? Who'd have thought it would be this difficult! Do both Diamonds do the same 99%? If so, that would indicate something with the file you're using maybe? Have you compared the file size of what's on your pc and what's on your phone? Just trying to sort out ... are you following the instructions from the other thread about flashing from internal storage?

This was my 1st time flashing roms, so I would probably think twice before I do that again. I havent tried the 2nd phone yet, since I will not have any other means of communication Actually I did see that file size was different, on my pc it was 144mb and on diamond it was only 130.5. I think that this may be the problem, I might try the 2nd one as well, but I think sprint may give me a hard time since I dont use my phones for tethering my laptops and in few days I downloaded files that are almost 600mb I will keep my fingers crossed, once again I really appreciate your help |
