Anyone go from the Touch to the Diamond?

How big of a difference is it? Any easier to type on?

Thanks.

Re: Anyone go from the Touch to the Diamond?

I think the Touch has a slightly bigger screen so if you are using FingerKeyboard 2.1 it will be slightly better on the Diamond. But of course I'm using the BigKeys layout so I just pop it into Landscape whenever I need to.

Re: Anyone go from the Touch to the Diamond?

All the changes were, in my opinion, very welcome. Depending on the keyboard you use, it is worlds easier to type on. I'm a fan of touchpal or EzInput. Fingerkb is also a very good choice.

battery life is worse. I had the extended battery for the touch and it was bearable, but for the diamond, it makes the phone so fugly.

Check out my post
" My miss my old Touch, should I go back? "

I got some real good feed back on this very issue... And at the end of the day, I've decided I like the form factor of the Touch 100% more then my Diamond (CDMA version); but due to the features of the Diamond, I'll be sticking with it. As far as typing goes, try the TouchPal keyboard or the SPB Keyboard apps, they are both great and help tremendously.

With that being said, their are some really nice devices just around the corner; Sprint will be getting the Touch Pro 2, Hero, Pixi and has the Pre... so weigh your options well!

Thanks for the link. I am on SERO, so it looks like my only option will be WM phones and the TP2 is way too big for my needs.

I am holding out for a Diamond 2. If that doesn't materialize, I will have to decide to either keep my Touch, get a Diamond or ???

Re: Anyone go from the Touch to the Diamond?

Diamond2 isn't bad but I want a 3.5" screen so if available I'm getting the TP2.
