and just to make sure one last time..after i installed the fix..i can press 3 and i wont get charged..correct?

This was a self thread jack if i've ever seen one lol. Back on topic the same thing happens to me and still cant fix it. I've been looking for a while now for a fix.

I can only vouch for Sprint...I dont know about Verizon.

I dont think there is a fix for this or ever will be, since when you connect your phone to your computer you can tether and be doing the same thing. Then again i could be wrong, and a fix is somewhere right under our nose.

Yeah its not a thread jack at all. This is a fix-it can't be done, so here's what you need to do. As stated before DO NOT use phone as modem. Use data.

Yes if you want a simple and fast ROM with internet sharing I'd say go with MightyROM =] because people have warned don't use phone as modem, I have used it before tho.... no charges but your better off flashing to MightyROM or any other ROM of your choice bro.
