Question Default Keyboard for Sprint Touch Diamond

Whats goin' on guys, I'm currently using finger keyboard 2.1 on my diamond and whenever i reset my phone, which i have to do quite often, i have to go back and select the finger keyboard again and again. I was wondering if there was a registry tweak or something that could make finger keyboard the default keyboard that comes up even after a reset. I am also running the stock sprint rom. Thanks

Re: Default Keyboard for Sprint Touch Diamond

There is a program called SIPChange that can change it.

I am curious as to why you have to reset your Diamond so often?
I used to reset my Diamond for the following reasons:
1) I had the original ROM version on my Diamond. I had multiple issues which required me to soft reset my Diamond at least 8x a day.
I then downloaded the newer stock ROM and the issues are gone.
2) To free up device memory.
I since downloaded cleanRAM and I don't need to reset my Diamond to free up Device memory anymore.

Well I do use cleanRAM, it def helps a lot, but unfortunately it doesnt help with freezing issues that i have throughout the day, im on my fourth diamond this month...Im really tired of going to the sprint store, Ill just wait for something good to come out, preferably at touch pro 2

See the stock ROM version in my signature. That is the current one available.
Did you ever use that one?
If you want to the use a stock ROM with very little issues, try it if you never
did before.

Re: Default Keyboard for Sprint Touch Diamond

8x does seem excessive, clean ram is a great prog for avoiding that.. plus with SIPchange you can set your default (make sure you change the time value per the instructions)

I soft reset at least 8x per day with the previous ROM version due to constant freeze ups.
I would only reset about once per day to clean memory.
Now with the updated ROM and cleanRAM, only about 1 soft reset per day
That older stock ROM was one BIG PAIN IN THE AS*!
