Re: Need Bell HTC Touch Diamond Radio Rom - CDMA
Thanks so much! This will restore my radio rom back to bell?
I will be trying it once my battery is fully charged! |

Re: Need Bell HTC Touch Diamond Radio Rom - CDMA
As far as I know, the stock radio for Bell is not available. You can get the rom, but not the radio. Personally, I would take the phone back to the store. I have a Bell Diamond too, so I think it might be a hardware problem. The Telus radio version number looks close to the Bell radio, so hopefully the tech guy won't notice the difference.

Re: Need Bell HTC Touch Diamond Radio Rom - CDMA
Well the rom suggested by boggsie restored my phone. However the radio is still with Telus. In my province we don't have a Bell store. Its Bell Aliant and in order for them to do anything with my phone I have to send it off for two weeks. No guarantees. Is there anything else I can try?

Re: Need Bell HTC Touch Diamond Radio Rom - CDMA
Is it hot all the time or only when emailing/texting? Are you using the Touchflo interface or the default Bell one? The only thing I can think of that might eat battery is if the GPS is on, or it's doing something funky in the background. Anything in Task Manager?
Or maybe it's a bad battery? Mine lasts about 3 days low usage if I turn it off overnight. |

Re: Need Bell HTC Touch Diamond Radio Rom - CDMA
Phreakmix provided assistance on another thread so I did not include that information here. I was simply expressing my thanks as he has been following this post as well.
There is no Bell radio rom to go back to. I flashed to telus and that is the one I am stuck with until HTC decides to do another update for the Bell Diamond. What I did was flashed back to bell stock rom and then put a custom rom, MightyMike, on my phone and it is very nice So to wrap everything up faroreefer, you are like me, stuck until HTC updates again for Bell. I don't know how often they provide updates so I will wait for the next one. Hope this helps. |
