Thanks a lot MrObvious. It worked well. Besides this, there is another problem I have been facing with this as well as a number of other roms which is rather irritating. Whenever I travel or sometimes when the network strength fluctuates, I get this service area notification (the name of my city) and the notification tone which for this rom is Alarm-Dawn and is rather longish.
I would love to have a cab that would take care of this service area pop up thing all together, if not then at least if the tone can be changed to something brief.

The best roms in my opinion were banned from this site for silly reasons. Try the mighty groovy rom at www.everythingdiamond.info . It is a super stable 6.1 rom and has lots of extras!
