Exclamation Slow Upload after ROM Upgrade

So i figured that I'd post to see if anyone else has noticed this. I'm a heavy user of the "Internet Sharing" application. When I'm running my stock Alltel ROM, my speeds are typically 1.5Mbps/384kbps.. But when I change ROMs, (doesn't matter whether it's a ROM designed for Alltel or not) the upload speed gets slashed down to 80kbps ..

This happens with any ROM that I flash to, too.. But if I flash back to stock Alltel, sure enough, speed goes back up to normal.. So I'm wondering if anyone else out there has experienced this, and hopefully has a fix. The stock Alltel ROM really bites, so I'd hate to have to use it!!

Also, I did apply my carrier cabs..

You know, it almost seems like it's not uploading in Rev. A.. But it sure does download in Rev. A

Re: Slow Upload after ROM Upgrade

Also, this has been experienced on more than one Touch Diamond. So it's not the hardware either.

Re: Slow Upload after ROM Upgrade

How are you testing this? I may try to verify it on MighyROM6.

I run a speed test (serveral times) on both speedtest.net and speakeasy.net/speedtest on the stock rom, I flash, retest. You should experience this too.

You will get about 80k, 100 if you're lucky.

Also, this did happen to me on MightyROM 6

Re: Slow Upload after ROM Upgrade

Hmm this would require research but I don't have time now. I will try later on.
