ROM/RADIO Help?

Just wondering what is the most stable rom and best radio for the diamond? I have a tp running mr5 and telsus radio which is fine for me but I just got a diamond for my gf and she needs something very basic with good battery life/speed (her first wm/smartphone). Any help would be great cus I know more about the tp, thanks!
