Change phone notification banner?

Hey,

I seem to have a weird problem on my phone ..., I remember when I first got it I used to click the phone icon and a little bubble would pop open and say "Telus" and show a few signal bars. Now it seems that my the banner is blank. I've checked pst, tried changing it in cdma workshop etc. Anyone know anywhere else I can look/edit to change the banner in that little bubble? Google returns weird results when you're searching "edit banner touch diamond" etc...
