Re: Most fast/stable 6.1 ROM?

Mighty ROM Compared to Juicy 8 (In My Opinion)

Might ROM is one of the Fastest ROMs I have flashed, Juicy's is Fast too, but its a little bigger of a ROM so it does have slower points. No Lag at any point for either of them though

IMHO Mighty's ROM is a lot easier to work with, standard start menu, TouchFlo, not clogged up by a lot of Extra Nonsense. Juicy's ROM has XboxMod, TouchFlo, as well as some other perks to it. However, I find it hard getting used to the XboxMod, hence the reason why I personally don't flash 6.5 ROMs (Tried many, didn't really like them).

Both ROMs have AMAZING battery life compared to other's I've flashed. But I think Mighty's takes it on that one.

Both ROM's are very customizable, Juicy's has a whole load of Themes, wallpapers and so on. MightROM actually has a whole list of highlights, dialers (just like Juicy's), as well as wallpapers and themes you can download right there on the main page for the ROM itself...

I personally am sticking with Juicy's ROM for now, testing it out. Next I'll be going with MysteryROM4 and Caulkins, and so on. I'm on sprint and for me it's hard to find the PERFECT ROM. I love MightROM, and I love Juicy. Like I said before the only reason I re-flashed was because I kept having an unsuccessful notification come up when I installed FingerKeyboard 2.1. For about the next week or so I'm gonna test out the ROMs (about 2-3 days each) and figure out which I like the most.

I've been flashing and cooking ROMs since BuildOS and the Apache were around, then the Tytn/Mogul, then the Touch Pro, now the Diamond. But since I haven't cooked in about 8 months, it's hard to go from a Mogul and cooking YOUR personal ROM to this. It's a whole different ballgame. But I'm working on it. So EVENTUALLY do expect something from myself as well! lol

Hope this Helps

Re: Most fast/stable 6.1 ROM?

I know it's not the fastest out there, but with all of the tweaks I've made to it, intxROM 1.6 is probably the best Diamond ROM I've used to date. It's given me by far the best battery life out of the others I've used before it (I take the phone off the charger at 8am, usually still have 30-40% battery life left by midnight), and even though the Rhodium manilla is still a little buggy in places, some of my customizations have helped smooth things over a bit.

That said, I'd really like to try something new, like Spb Mobile Shell 3, or WinMo 6.5 with Titanium, but I don't even remember half the tweaks I used to get this ROM where I like it, so I can't decide what I want to do right now.

So my question is, is there another Stable and Fast ROM out there besides Calkulin's 19974?

I guess in the end, from whatever u guys suggest, I'll compare battery life, and go with that.

Thanks!

nuerom is stable, fast, and about the only rom anyone can run to not have any bugs. period

Re: Most fast/stable 6.1 ROM?

Wow guys, thanks for the suggestions! I think I might try Juicy 8 and see what happens. I just would hate having to go on and hard reset, flash stock, hard reset, flash Juicy, hard reset, and restore cabs (about an hour, or feels like) just to have 6.5 blow up in my face, lol

I might try Mighty's too.

Hey, don't tbese guys remind u of No2Chem and DCD? LOL Awesome guys, the lot of them.

Re: Most fast/stable 6.1 ROM?

yeah it is from 2008 and maybe you should go take a look at it again, hes got a new one comin out soon but he writes almost alk of the files that other chefs thank him for youd be amazed at how great it is as opposed to being the lastest sys which usually has more bugs and headaches than something stable that is proven to be glitch free. but go ahead and be a beta tester if you want flashing ur fone everytime says they updated something, dont say i didnt warn you or tell you that updated doesnt always mean what YOU WANT.

i got crap battery life with juicy 8 and you can expect to be getting the hard reset screen if you install something it doesnt like... go in the reg and look for all the ucarrier bloatware and touchpro keys that sre screwing up rhodium while you try and figure out what progrsm wont freeeze wm6.5 when you reset after installing.

Re: Most fast/stable 6.1 ROM?

After testing many 6.5 roms and some 6.1 roms, I gotta say mightyrom 4 is the best 6.1 rom out there at the moment (haven't tried silence's rom but gonna get to it).

All the 6.5 roms are still pretty buggy and you lag a bit more (almost like vista is laggier compared to XP but it looks better ).

When using mightyrom 4, I have yet to do one soft-reset because of lag/freeze/bug issues. Battery life is phenomenal too.
