Re: What backup app do you use to backup your phone?

I use spb backup (costs a few $$ but well worth it). I have it do an automatic backup every day at 2am. I copy the backups to my laptop just in case. Yesterday, I was fiddling with some settings and accidentally deleted my data settings and could not remember what to put back in. Rather than waiting forever online with tech support, I just restored the specific settings I needed and I was up and running again in 5 minutes. Highly recommended.

+1 on Sprite, great software to back up EVERYTHING on the device. However, for contacts, texts, etc I use MyPhone.

Unhappy Re: What backup app do you use to backup your phone?

I was gonna say Microsoft My Phone, but today I went to sync my phone with it and it made dupiclicates and triplicates of my contacts. I deleted all the contacts off my phone and went to resync with Microsoft My Phone only to see that they are doing matinence, and all my contacts are gone (hopefully temporarly) on their site and my phone. That's only 150 contacts that I've aquired over 10 years that I have stored nowhere else.

So for now I would stay away from this app, but when it worked it was good.

Re: What backup app do you use to backup your phone?

Better get pimBackup for when you can retrieve your contacts from MS.

Re: What backup app do you use to backup your phone?

I use PIM Backup and My Phone. I have My Phone synced with my contacts, tasks and text messages. PIM Backup has everything above backed up as well as appointments and call logs so it's a final resort in case all else fails.

Though most of the time after a (re)flash, I sync contacts and tasks with Outlook and using My Phone or PIM Backup to retrieve my text messages and call logs.
