txt messages arent marked as read

Ever since i went to the sprint update rom 6.0 if your in the threaded txt mesasge window aka like you sent them a text message then they respond while your still in that window, if you close it the messages arent marked as read. Anyone know how to fix this? It pisses me off because ill txt someone back and forth for 10 messages then close the window and i it says i have 10 unread. ugh

ps: if nobody knows a fix is there anyway to disable the light notification of a new message? I checked in the settings but its greyd out and you cant stop it

Im not on that ROM. Im on Mighty's june 3rd rom and dont have that problem. Ive never heard of a fix for it. If it bugs you that much you could try another ROM? sorry i cant be of more help

when in threaded text message highlight the first unread/bold message then scroll down to the bottom. that iwll "read" your messages. Mine are usually marked "read" when I send a reply. Also you can just use a clear/blank manila for the notifications but the number will still show. the bubble will be gone, the number of unread will show.

ugh, i think i might just go with a custom rom sometime in the next week. Anyone ever have trouble with sprints total protection plan and a custom rom?
