Weird screen issue - Display mirrored

My buddy got a Diamond about a month ago. I tried putting some custom roms on for him to get rid of the stock stuff but none of them seemed to run very well at all... even Mighty's 4.8 (I think... it was the last one before the R3Born one he just released... I'm on a TP so I don't come to the Diamond forum often). I put the stock rom back on for him and stopped the customizations from running and it's been running good for the most part. Tonight, he turned it on and the display was mirrored. The taskbar, TF3D, softkeys... everything. I turned it off and back on again and it was back to normal. Has anybody else seen this happen before? This is a Bell Diamond.
