Notification icons briefly show

For some reason the notification icons only remain on the taskbar for a couple of seconds?!

The email is slightly better but the text message symbol literally disappears after maybe 2-3 seconds, which means if you miss the message unless you check your inbox contantly you wont recieve the messages!!

Any ideas/solutions??

We need more data like which programs you are using, which ROM, and so forth.

im using factory standard XDA Ignito (gsm)
ROM: 1.93.206.6 WWE
Radio: 1.00.25.05

Im running sbsh pocketbreeze and ilauncher and tsowen taskbar 4v1.6

Thats it, nothing heavily altered at all

Try removing the taskbar and see if that makes it work. I tried it once and my phone was weird afterward.
