Anybody want to help me???

I really want to put windows mobile 6.5 on my phone but i am really worried about messing up my phone. I have read through different things on this site and i am just so new to this that it makes no sense to me at ALL. I dont know what i have to download or how to install it. I have a stock rom and Ntelos is my provider. If anyone who really knows what they are doing and has the time to walk me through this step by step I would really appreciate it.

I got the unlocking part. Which is the best mobile 6.5 rom to get? I want one that is fast and doesnt get bogged down alot or have alot of problems.

Words of warning: Do not be in a hurry to flash your phone. What do you expect of the WM 6.5 ROM that the stock ROM cannot do? Are you familiar with the ins and outs of WinMo and your device in general? Are you completely comfortable with the mechanics of flashing your device, as well as how to unscrew any problems that may result? I ask these questions because we get a lot of folks that jump into flashing before they really know what they're doing, end up bricking their phone, and then posting something along the lines of, "help me, I just bricked my phone. I don't know what I did!"

No I do not know the ins and outs of flashing. that is why I asked if someone wanted to walk me through it. I have been looking at how win 6.5 looks and i like it that is why i was wanting it on my phone. I really do not want to brick my phone that is why i am asking. If it is something that is real time consuming and complicated then i will forget about it.

Don't worry you won't brick your phone. There are several good 6.5 CDMA Diamond ROMs these days. I like mine, but others are good. Try them all. "Best" is personal preference.

Nevermind I found it that was stupid just click on the big picture under your post. anyway do you think you would be able to help me out if i run into some problems?

I'm sure if you flash and happen to run into any problems, all you would need to do is post in the thread of the ROM you flashed. You will find out very quickly that this is a wonderful site with lots of knowledge and people willing to share it.
