Sync birthdates to Calendar?

I was wondering if there is a way to have the birthdates from your contacts show up on the calendar tab without having to enter them in manually? (i am using a custom rom using calcu's 21042 kitchen)

If I remember correctly, once you sync with Outlook it will set up the reminders in your calendar automatically. I think the catch in doing that is that it will create a reminder at midnight by default for each birthday.
