i need help i locked my cell phone

hey, yesterday i locked my phone using letters i didnt know you had to use numbers now i cant unlock my phone i need help ive called sprint and they said they couldnt help me...please guys i need help here im going crazy!!

looks like you are going to have to hard-reset...

...ive tried to do the hard reset held the power, enter, and vol. down buttons but it takes to a screen that says securty unlocked and its white red green and blue but after that i dont know what to do it just stays there and theres nothing else i can press. i reset it after that but its still locked

If its going to the bootloader (security unlocked screen) your not pressing the buttons in the right sequence, most likely not registering the enter button. Make sure you hold down all buttons, soft reset and continue holding buttons til a gray screen prompts to reset.

sometimes plugging it into the computer has worked to unlock it (if it's set up that way I believe)
