Verizon Diamond Release Details Surface

The first concrete details regarding the Verizon variant of the HTC Touch Diamond have surfaced along with preliminary pricing and availability information.
The device will be available starting on April 10th online, through Telesales, and through Business accounts with an as yet undetermined availability for retail stores and dealers.
The Verizon variant will be functionally identical to the Sprint and Alltel versions with a VGA display, TouchFLO 3D interface, 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, Wi-Fi radio, Bluetooth with stereo audio support, speakerphone and GPS support via VZNavigator.
As expected, the Verizon variant will dispense with the built-in 4GB NAND flash memory module, instead utilizing a microSDHC expansion slot which will increase its appeal for those customers that desire extra storage space for files or applications while also adding a flash for the camera.
The device will be sold for $469.99 Month-to-Month, or as low as $199.99 after new 2 year agreement, qualifying data plan, and additional rebates.

since this version of the diamond will have a flash and no 4gb internal storage will we be able to use the vzw rom directly on our sprint or altel diamonds? I have a sprint diamond on vzw and would love to use the vzw rom for mms reasons.... but cant now since they are different units no internal storage and now has flash with vzw.

but its got a flash and microsd if only it had 4gb internal also....

but will be have to change the diamond area forum as it says 4gb of internal storage and vzw not got that

what about G sensors and processor? I've seen that the G sensors are removed and the processor is being slowed down considerably.

thats vzw for you... why have a v8 when you can have a battery efficient slower cpu, no internal storage memory, heck why not take the screen out and make it voiced based instead? after all my ibm pcjr does all i need it to do....

but since it has no internal storage and a flash for the camera should we have two diamond main threads once for the new diamond which we should call diamond 1.5?
