Airwave is just to increase the signal, nothing to do with VoIP.

If the company you work for has an account with sprint, they might set up in-building signal repeaters at no charge if your building has areas that get poor service. The company I work for got them installed for free at several of our locations, although it's worth noting we have at least 400~500 phones on the account.

A friend just showed my how his Tmobile Blackberry routes calls through wifi automatically, if he has poor or no signal. While in a call, he disconnected the wifi, and call was lost to prove it was going through wifi. I wish Sprint would have this option for their phones.
