Re: Phone antenna power

once you open the battery/back cover, those little stickers on the back of the diamond are actually antennas. unlike the regular touch and the mogul, the diamond doesnt offer a port for an external antenna.

my experience with different version of radios, the telus 1.04 radio offer good data performance, but poor voice performance(drop calls). the sprint 1.11 radio offer good voice performance (less drop calls), but sometime during data session it get stuck in 1x mode. depending on locations, your experience may be different.

Changing your radio version will not increase the power to the phone antenna.
This will only change the way your phone transmits.

There is nothing you can to do increase the power unless you open up your phone and mess around.

Radio performance is highly dependant on your location, so what works for you in your area may not in his...

Theres a thread out there with 48 listed cities and the best radio for each. Give that a try.

I work in the RF industry, and although this is obviously a joke, there are really people like this out there. A co-worker of mine had to visit some guy, and he lined his whole bathroom with tin foil. He was complaining that his neighbours Receive Only TV sat dish was radiating his home.

LMAO. I'm being microwaved by his satellite dish!!! You should have played into it and sold him on some lead drywall like they use in X-Ray rooms!

Why donate to one person, when you can support the site that makes it all possible instead
