Internet Sharing Active Sync

Is there a way to keep my computer from sharing its internet connection with the phone? I have a WinXP computer using the latest activesync. I need to do this because I connect the phone to my work computer and cant use the internet connection from work.

Not sure exactly how Activesync works.

But on Vista with WMDC, you can go to Mobile Device settings, then Connection Settings and there is a checkbox for that option.
