iGO8 and Disk Drive

Hey Guys,

There's a ton of threads related to the Touch Diamond and iGO8 -- which is sort of the problem. I haven't been able to find anyone who's tried to do exactly what I'm doing.

I've got iGO8 installed on my internal memory and it works perfectly. GPS works, maps work, etc. etc.

Now in my car, the place I'd actually use iGO, I have a car mount from ProClip which I use to connect my Diamond to my car's Headunit. The headunit can play music from an attached USB Disk (aka, disk mode from diamond) however this obviously kills the instance of iGO running from the internal storage since the diamond disables access to the internal storage when in disk drive mode.

I've tried putting the music in the non-internal storage for testing pursoses, and telling the Diamond to connect via activesync but no luck.

Has anyone got any ideas? I'm unsure what protocols are in effect when you're in Disk Drive mode, and iGO is a bit too fat of a program to keep in RAM (the non-content files are 50MB alone!)

Thanks,
-Mike
