Using Sync w my desktop is disabling OZ IM

Apparently, it was my office exchange server that was disabling the ability to install programs and my OZ IM. I sync'ed my computer with my phone one more time (after resetting the phone, again), but this time, I did not sync using the exchange server and I was able to update my contacts and calendar and still have the OZ IM app.
