It's both CDMA and GSM!
Sprint had, not sure if they still have, a few phones that were both CDMA and GSM.
Within the US it operated on CDMA, and if you were outside of the country it operated on a sprint provided SIM card for GSM, and you were locked into pre-negotiated sprint international roaming charges.
