i uninstalled it and it keeps saying i need to unregister it, and i do! so what other keyboard needs to be unregistered?

OKAY! With I think six posts in a row, I have no idea what I'm even doing anymore, lmao. Seriously, I don't know where the program is to uninstall the keyboard so I can get the correct one going. I have all these random files floating around in my phone with skins and all sorts of things. I'm at a total lost. Too bad there isn't a "start over" button.

I had the same problem, I had to go thru the phone and delete everything that says fingerkb and then go to page 34 post #336 and install, it worked for me. Thx in indagroove.......

I installed the VGA version on my Sprint Diamond, but when I try to select it from the "other input options" thing, it makes the ding noise like I selected it and freezes. All I did was download the VGA version (nothing else) and installed it to the device (not internal memory). Do I need to also get one of the other attachments in the first post to make it work? Or the QVGA version maybe?

OK, don't panic! I know this thread can be a bit confusing because of the evolution of this program. Read through this thread and don't install every cab you find. There are a lot of versions on here. Maybe it can be cleaned up a bit.

The old keyboard should have been unregistered before uninstalling (it is stated several times in this thread) but I think you can still get rid of the registry settings. PLEASE read through this thread and see if there is a fix for that.

I think that Reef48 updated the VGA cab in the first or second post. Anyway, use THIS one that Indagroove cabbed up for us. It should work.

It's also a good idea to wait for an answer to your post before posting 5 more times.

Yes guys be sure you use the vga cab or the vga file overwrite if you install the wvga cab.. unless you're using the HTC HD which IS wvga.. Touch PRO and Touch Diamond are VGA devices...

alright, I got it to work from post #366! Now... how do I use it in landscape mode??? I thought I could just turn it to the side and it would work...
