If you don't have any app that rotates you screen for you then the keyboard will not rotate either.

Let me ask you this, does the keyboard show landscape when you rotate your internet browser and then open it? If it still comes up as portrait then try this...

Basically, you have to press the minimize key (looks like a little keyboard) before rotating. AFTER rotating the phone, open the keyboard again by either pressing the little FNGKB symbol at the bottom of the screen or by selecting the text area (like the search window in Google). It SHOULD work. If not, then I am out of ideas.

A new version will be released soon. FingerKeyb v 2.1.1 I will let everyone know about the new features it will have when i get home. on my mobile now. Im am about to start working on layouts. We will release when all the bugs are worked out. All skins should work with the new version.

will there be a vga version right off the bat? Or is the program essentially the same besides the skins?

It is essentially the same, but with alot of new features. Yes there will be a VGA version right of the bat. It will you to use alot of the same layouts as before. I know mine or working fine, but there is a extra actions txt file for the 123 pad, and more options, smilies, predefined text.


Here are some of the new features

- new config tool
- new Smiles and Shortcuts control
- fixed bugs with "home" and "end"
- customizable vibration feedback
- lot of new typing sounds
- updated Backspace behaviour
- new Undo option

All my layout's are finished with the arrows included of course. Giannis86 is working on the no arrows layout's. It shouldn't be much longer. I have been using the new keyboard for a few days now, and love it. You all will love all the new options, haptic feedback, option to change sounds or no sound at all. Just waiting on Rozanthal and Exidler for the offical release. Shouldn't be much longer.

I'm looking forward to this new version too. The non working end/right arrow key has bugged me for awhile.

I hard reset this weekend and held back on installing the keyboard until the new one comes out. I have decided that I really don't like the new ported Diamond2 EZInput keyboard! I finally gave in and re-installed FingerKeyboard.
