Re: Radios and Best Locations (A Great List of 51 Cities!!!)
New VZW 1.03.09 is all around the best for my location. Attleboro, MA (about 10 minutes from Providence, RI, and 20 mins from Boston.)

Re: Radios and Best Locations (A Great List of 51 Cities!!!)
I have used all of the radios thus far and have found that the original Sprint 1.03 radio works best in Columbia, SC. The Telus radio was a close second. Both radios consistently held 2-4 bars, speed test showed 400-700k, and both had low heat on the battery.

Re: Radios and Best Locations(Ten Cities Listed)
I'm just south of Salt Lake City, in Sandy, UT, and I think the Telus radio worked fine, but the battery got really hot and was draining faster according to battery meter. I just went back to the sprint 1.11.00f radio, was working fine before I tried the teles, staying reasonably cool and sprint is my carrier. It's also easier since when I flash to shipped and then new roms I get reset to sprint 1.11.00F anyhow, so it saves me a step.

Hi,
I live in the Tampa, FL area and have truely tested all 9 radios out right now. The two best ones on reception have been the telus 1.01.05v and the Sprint 1.11.00f. I give a big edge to the Sprint 1.11.00f though, as it has given me considerably better battery life. Just my $0.02 |

I can vouch for the Atlanta, Ga- Telus 1.04.05v. I have tried every radio and this one worked best.

Best one yet. The data speeds are better than Sprint or Telus for me. I can also get on the data network at my desk at work, it's an inside Tornado shelter area and I have never gotten a signal in here before!! Last edited by gullzway; 06-25-2009 at 01:00 PM. |
