Re: BMW Bluetooth, added space before most names. Also, voice command question.
Hey akates,
Got the same car as you. Are you i-Drive or non i-Drive? I havent had any issues with my contacts but i am not sure if I have any contacts with only one name. As for using the phones voice command feature I believe you can do this only by pressing and holding the phone's talk button (if yours is still step up to activate voice command via Press + Hold Talk) Another good source of information would be http://www.e90post.com/forums/ under the Electronical/i-Drive section |

Re: BMW Bluetooth, added space before most names. Also, voice command question.
I'm not I-drive but I have the bluetooth option. I just learned about the voice command on the phone today so I haven't had a chance to check that out but I was hoping I would be able to activate it through the steering wheel somehow without having to take my phone out of my pocket. Doesn't sound like I will. I really don't get the contacts issue but the same thing happened on the touch pro I had for a few days as well. Don't know if the mistake is on my end, microsoft's end, or BMW's end!
And I've def been on e90post but mostly in the Forced Induction section. Never really visited the electronical section, I'll check it out though! |

Re: BMW Bluetooth, added space before most names. Also, voice command question.
For all we know it could be the way BMW is interpreting the data since I'm pretty sure the i-Drive interface doesn't display it this way.
Check in your File as section to see if the underscores are present in these sections. |

Yeah it definitely looks normal in the phone. It's only in the car where I get the underscore. So random.
