Re: Sprint PictureMail issue
FIXED! So here was the issue: I had to use command prompt to reformat internal storage. I could send PictureMail but could not receive it due to my phone no longer seeing the Internal Storage as a internal storage drive and rather just a folder. After I went into command prompt and "format e:" on my computer (e: of course being the drive that my phone shows up as when I connect it to my computer) it formatted properly. Using File Explorer I copied the contents of the Internal Storage folder into the new correct Internal Storage2 DRIVE (has a little icon of a disk on the folder) and then deleted the original Internal Storage folder. Soft-Reset and the folder will be gone and the Internal Storage2 Drive will now be the proper Internal Storage Drive (named properly without the "2" at the end). Now I can send and receive pictures as normal. Hopefully this message helps anyone with the issue as I have heard a lot of people had it.

Re: Sprint PictureMail issue
Hey all,
Is anyone having issues with no sound playing when a pic mail notification is received? I get a small beep, and the icon, that's it. I can't see where that small beep is assigned to, and can't change it.... It's driving me nuts! Later, Matt! |

Re: Sprint PictureMail issue
My Sprint Picture Mail shows up in the email tab of TF3D, but it uses the sound notification that I set for Text Messages. I asked this before and the only way that was reffered to me to change/fix this, was an app called PhoneAlarm. I did not use it though because it is not free. LOL!
I refuse to pay for any WinMo app!

Re: Sprint PictureMail issue
Ok I just got off the phone with sprint and yes allthough picture mail on the touch pro sucks i really got some good info from the representative which most of you probably already know but if you are like me and did not know here it goes. he said picture mail is messed up still on windows based phones but if you have your e-mail set up with your phone there is a way around it. send the picture using your e-mail and to send to another mobile phone just use these adresses.
Sprint receivers- receivers 10 digit number@pm.sprint.com verizon receivers- receivers 10 digit number@vzwpix.com just to clarify this is for sprint users having trouble with picture mail just put in the person's number that you are sending to and the sprint or verizon adress above and it goes right to their phone like a picture mail, i just tried it by sending a pic to my wife's phone and it worked great. I just put in the phone number and adress in my contacts as their second e-mail to do it quickly. hope this helps, it sure helped me cuz picture mail was pissing me off. Should work on the diamond too.
