Re: Sprint PictureMail issue

Hey all,

The CAB posted in this thread works great! However, I would like to uninstall it and reinstall it. Much to my surprise there is no default windows uninstall option - or in SK tools... WHat gives? Should I install the 'official' sprint cab then reinstall IT to uninstall the verison posted here?

Thanks,
Matt!

i agree with this as well. after hours and hours on the phone with sprint people a few months ago, installing and uninstalling program after program, trying different roms, the ONE program that messed it up was the cody personalizer. i thought it was a net3.5 issue, but my pic mail works with every ROM now, even when i make my own.
good luck to everyone who is having problems wiht this, believe me i know your pain. it literally took weeks to figure this all out.

best bet, hard reset to factory rom. make sure the pic mail works. i usually install it as my very first program( on a non staock rom), after install, i soft reset, then open up a new pic mail, let it configure your device, soft reset again. send myself a pic, wait for it to work then go about installing everything else. again, good luck!

Re: Sprint PictureMail issue

Well, I officially am back on Sprint Shipped ROM and came up with nothing, still a no-go. Multiple hard resets back on shipped rom should have cleared it up so it is probably Sprint jacking up. Now I just wait to hear from the network team.

Please update this thread when you hear from em. I'm still having intermittent problems. Thanks!

Just attempt to reinstall the cab, then ot will tell you that you have to uninstall the previous version, so say "ok". Now it has been uninstalled.

Attached is an uninstallable version of the same cab.

Indagroove,

When I installed your second cab, it didn't ask to uninstall the first version (the other cab).

Also, if I did install the first version over, and then tell it to uninstall, it would just be installing again - unless I can cancel to that the cab doesn't install again...

Know what I mean?

Thanks,

Matt!

If you re-install the OG cab, it will ask you if you wann uninstall, so say OK. Once that's done it will ask you to continue with installation. At that point, you quit.
