Re: Wow, 3 days still 50% battery!

Again, I don't buy those annoying "features". Why I spent $550 for a phone that's always out of battery when I need to use it?

Re: Wow, 3 days still 50% battery!

Sounds like you now have the original touch except for the form factor and resolution. With custom tweaks/roms/radios I easily get through the day and into bed without a dead phone and that's good enough. Too each his own though...

Re: Wow, 3 days still 50% battery!

your phone lasts so long because your screen is set to a brightness of 1, and most likely *not* because of anything else you've done.

Re: Wow, 3 days still 50% battery!

I thought about this thread today but couldn't find it.... But with technology, they have technology. I have a home charger at home and work, a car charger, and being the radioshack freak that I am I have one of those 2-AA chargers in my coat for when I'm out and about. I think it's a bit of an overkill, but I'm not gonna be caught with a dead battery. And ok, I actually have a couple hundred chargers at work... lol.

hmmm, why did you buy a touch pro?, you basically bought a ferrari and took out the engine and peeled the paint off.

A brightness of 1 would kill my eyes in anything other than complete darkness...

lol very well said...

you might as well go and get a Touch. It doesnt have any of the features you disabled anyways, and it has much better battery life.

Re: Wow, 3 days still 50% battery!

im my opinion, disabling all of the nice, extra things about this phone is kind of wasteful.

as it stands right now:
-my battery is at 70%
-phone has not been charged for approx 20 hours (which was not a full charge either- it was only charged for about 20 mins, w/ no2chems fastcharge)
-has tf3d enabled
-has nothing messed with in my start up folder (which has defaults + quickmenu, touch response, change screen)
-has auto adjust brightness level enabled

Now that I finally figured it out, I get so much better battery life on my Diamond than I ever used to with my Titan.

Anyways, honestly...whats the point of going on 3 days per charge but having half the functionality? What better things could your phone be doing at night, while you sleep, than charging up a little bit.
