Turn off accelerometer

I am using S2P to play mp3 and it rotates too much when I was running. I can't control it correctly if it rotate.

How do I turn off accelerometer? I don't find any practical use for it anyway.

s2u2 has a setting, did you try that? also use version 1.42 http://www.ac-s2.com/ if you use s2u2 you can lock your screen and still use s2p. it shows album art and all the buttons on locked screen. also plays with screen off. i use s2p that doesnt change songs when you shake phone.

s2u2 includes s2p? or I have to install both? and it allow me to turn off accelerometer?

try this. just install and go to start --> programs --> change screen. there will be advanced in blue writing at the bottom; click on it and check "ONLY rotate the apps in my exceptions list" and put what you would like to rotatein the exceptions menu. I did not create this app. I take no credit for this app aswell! I forgot where exactly but I got it from XDA-Developers.

sorry if that was cunfusing. first i use s2p version that doesnt change songs when you shake phone 0.58 vga theres 2 versions that are 58. s2u2 is a separate app. that works with s2p. plays music with screen locked, still can see album art and change songs.

so there is no way to disable acelerometer completely? does this app use battery only when I launch it right? meaning it does not use battery other time?

not that youll notice. s2u2 with s2p is a killer combo. ill post a screen shot of my screen locked and playing s2p.

I just uninstall s2p and installed s2u2. it is not what I am looking for. it is cool but I don't need to unlock screen.

just uninstall s2u2 and reinstalled s2p.

I installed "change scree" app and checked exception but it did not work. s2p still rotate. it is very annoying when you are running.

It's not the accelerometer you want to disable, but screen rotation, which can be done with changescreen (posted above), or flip it and probably some other ones too. Those 2 are easy to configure though.
