[REQ] Touch focus port to Diamond?

Does anyone know if the touch focus from the HD can be ported to the diamond? I know the camera is different, which is probably what makes the difference, but is there any chance its just a software addition they decided to leave out of the diamond? It wouldn't be the first time they purposely removed functions from the diamonds camera.

the diamond focuses when the button panel is touched and before it is pressed.

This is not quite what I'm referring to. Both the xperia x1 (i think?) and the blackstone both have a feature where when you click on a part of the screen while in photo mode, the focus will change to that point. So you can change between the focus of a pen or car with the touch of the screen.

anyone else heard of this. Apparently the blackstone has this feature? Anyone tried importing it from a rom?
