Windows Live Search "Locate Me" feature - Page 2

I am having a different issue with the newest Live Search. After being located by GPS at home, Live Search is unable to locate a single "category" correctly. The phone cannot find a Starbucks or McDonalds or any pizza place close to my GPS location. Nor will Live Search allow me to change the location to a contact to display my home address.

Settings says "GPS Intermediate Driver".

Uninstall, soft reset, and then install again followed by another soft reset. It should fix it.

So I am missing something here what does the locate me function give us that the track me function does not?

From what I've read online. The locate me feature is for non-gps enabled phones (guess it uses triangulation), and the track me feature is for GPS enabled phones.

okay thats what I thought but it seemed redundant since we have GPS. I couldnt figure out why people were stressing about it when we have real GPS
