I don't know of a regedit, but I am curious. If you're taking the stylus out to actually use it. Wouldn't you want the screen to come on?

well that parts ok, but it turns on when you put it in also. But thats not exactly the issue.
somethings been off with the sensor, if i leave the stylus in and press some screen buttons or move the phone around a bit it will turn the screen back on. If the stylus is out it won't do that. I messed with the sensor yesterday and i think i might have broke it, the problem seems to have disappeared for the moment. |

The polling to this sensor may be one of those craps that kill standby battery life. I'll look into this and try to find a way to disable it.
