Battery Backdoor for TELUS HTC DIAMOND

Hey everyone!

Unfortunately upon opening the battery backdoor for the diamond (I was doing a soft reset), the door itself chipped a bit on the corner and i'm having an annoyingly hard time finding a replacement backdoor.

I went to the local telus mobility store, and they told me that they are unable to order it for me, and that i should contact HTC to order it from them. I did just that, and HTC told me that they only provide the battery backdoors for the BELL version and not the TELUS version (and they claimed the two diamonds are different apparently in design)? Then, they proceeded to tell me to contact telus and tell them to order it for me. After telling HTC that I already did that, they proceeded to tell me that I should try to contact the telus store again cause apparently HTC doesn't carry the Telus version which makes absolutely no sense.

So as you can see, I've been thrown in circles back and forth trying to find a replacement backdoor for the telus diamond, and ebay unfortunately looks a bit shady as several sellers STILL can't distinguish parts/accessories between the GSM and CDMA versions of the phone and they advertise their products for both phones. Has anyone had to get a replacement back door?? and if so, how in the heck were you able to get it?

Your input would be greatly appreciated, as this is a real nuicance i'm trying to get resolved.

do you have insurance?if so,i think an "accident" might get you a battery door.
