I'm not sure what did it but whatever combination of stuff I installed, my phone lasts a good 2 days with fairly heavy use.

Re: Battery Monitor: what's your typical DisChargeCurrent level?

I have my backlight on the second lowest setting and I discharge at 66mA..sometimes (as someone else noted) when I first open Battery Monitor it reads 166mA but if I close it and reopen it goes back to the 66mA.

Wow, how do you guys have such low discharge levels? Mine right now is idling around 146-150 with nothing else.

Could it be that I am running MightyRom?

Actually you have one of the most efficient ROMs out there right now. You need to use the battery monitor and not no2's battery driver because it adds one hundred milliamps to the actual reading for some reason. Some things to try are your turning off all your options in the comm manager minus the data, turning the beam off, etc.

Re: Battery Monitor: what's your typical DisChargeCurrent level?

When in use, it jumps all around hits highs of 600's but as soon as it stops being used it's right back down to idle

84 before backlight on
57 when backlight goes dim
dunno about standby... how do you check that?

Re: Battery Monitor: what's your typical DisChargeCurrent level?

Does anyone know if the battery driver is reporting the temperature correctly?

I've started paying attention to Battery Monitor a little more recently because I'm trying out the rapid-charge drivers. I'm concerned that the extra current the drivers dump into the batter will cause excess heat, which will reduce overall life of the batter. Battery Monitor only reports 30degC, while I know there are temperature fluctuations beyond that.

I'd also be interested in trending this data if anyone knows where BatMon came from; it'd be nice to have that program trend your power consumption, which you could then upload to your computer and mark the various times were wi-fi / calls / bluetooth / backlight were adjusted.
