Vibrating and frozen

I had a weird experience last night. I woke up, and my Diamond was buzzing away like crazy for no reason. I do not have the ringer set to vibrate, and I didn't have any apps running. The screen was dark. The power button didn't do anything. I had to remove the battery to get it to stop. After rebooting, all seems normal. Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm running Juicy 4.4 and the latest Telus radio ROM.

Re: Vibrating and frozen

I have experienced this about twice. Same exact thing rom radio and everything. I took the battery out and all was well. I guess its normal because it happened on earlier roms as well....

Re: Vibrating and frozen

this is a known problem. happens to me a couple times/wk. to stop it you can go to Settings/Sounds & Notifications/New Text Message, uncheck vibrate, and when you hit "ok" it will stop. if you go back and turn it on, it will go back to doing it on the next text though. only way to fix is to turn it off like that, soft reset, and turn vibrate back on. sucks an effing lot.

Does this mean that the problem happens when you receive a text? I don't think I received a text when it happened to me, although if I did, and the text just didn't show up on the phone, that sucks even more!
