Stevedog1, I assume you are using Vista, when you have the phone connected what does windows device manager title the phone. Mine is Pocket PC Sync.

Also, just changed the phone to be a hard drive, and it shows up just fine in Vista, but not for "active sync"

Obviously, this computer knows what this phone is.
Yes, I am using Vista Premium SP1. My Phone shows up as "Pocket PC USB Sync" Wonder why yours doesn't say USB.

Have you gone into Windows Mobile Device Connection settings in your Vista PC as I suggested above?

Re: Diamond and Vista

I used Juicy's 3.9 and it worked fine, and now Im using Calc's 3.6 still with no issues. So I don't think the rom is an issue. If you're willing, you can try another ROM to make sure.

Other than that, I'm lost for further suggestions. I'm sorry I couldn't help you actually fix your problem. If I have any other ideas, I'll be sure to keep you posted.

Re: Diamond and Vista

I am probably being to anal about this. I work in IT and everything is synced to the phone wirelessly, so I don't really ever use it connected to the computer, but I want it to work because it is supposed to. I will either live with it or just install XP back and deal with it.
