Re: Slide to Answer off Touch HD (needs porting)
I don't know if anybody wants it but I added the curtain for the incall status. This is not the transparent one. Just let me know if there are any issues.

Re: Slide to Answer off Touch HD (needs porting)
I have noticed that this dialer doesn't let the data connection go dormant any more. Anyone else noticing this issue? This is really affecting my battery life.

Using Advanced Config (or Diamond Tweak if I remember correctly) to change that back if it resets it. I will look into the registry edits to see what is causing that.

Re: Slide to Answer off Touch HD (needs porting)
The problem is that advanced config kills the connection so that it has to reconnect each time. I haven't been able to find the registry entry that sets the dormant timeout. With out the dialer it is 10 sec.

Re: Slide to Answer off Touch HD (needs porting)
I now have it working and like it, but I noticed that the screen will no longer turn off when I am in a call. I wonder if it was a setting that was changed or a registry setting?

When I tap the power button while in a call (incoming or outgoing) the phone goes to sleep. I don't think there is a registry setting in the CAB. However, it may be in the DLL file to not let the phone go to sleep automatically by itself. Because this is the international files it has the Video Calling stuff in there, and I guess auto sleep while in a call would be disabled because of that. But like I said, it manually turns off for me if I tap the power button. |

Re: Slide to Answer off Touch HD (needs porting)
I know that the phone used to shut off during a call. I do not remember if it went to sleep according to the backllight settings I had or not. It is possible, because I know that the phone would still have the screen on if it was a short call , but a longer one it would be off. The phone will sleep if I press the top button, but now it will not turn off/sleep when in a call.
I tried the cab and look at the registry entries and it still will not work. I set the backlight to dim at 30 seconds and off at one minute. The screen will dim, but will not turn off. I guess I can live with it or use the top button. I have the CDMA version by the way. Thanks for trying! |
