Re: Motion Sensor/Light Sensor camera
Seems kinda improbable considering the motion sensor is on the front and the camera is on the back, I haven't heard of anything existing, but I could be wrong.

Re: Motion Sensor/Light Sensor camera
It seems to me that the motion/light sensor would have to continuously monitor the environment in order to determine if a change has occurred. This would drain battery life tremendously. I'm sure it can be done because I've seen applications which use the sensors and cause the phone to react according to the results of the input (ie. G-Light will adjust the brightness of the backlight depending on the brightness of the environment). G-Light

Re: Motion Sensor/Light Sensor camera
I use to have software like this on a Nokia that would post the picture up to a webpage.

Back to the original post: Again, I know it can be done. I don't know if it has already. I was searching around and I found someone who tapped into the sensor dll file and was able to create a managed API for accessing some information from the G Sensor. If you're interested in development, you can read about what he has come up with here. His code also includes a sample application that may help a developer. I am new at development, and I haven't had enough experience yet to try something like what you want. |
