All kinds of problems
I'm having a load of problems (Calcu's ROM but I don't think the ROM is why).
Firstly, my data is ALWAYS transmitting/receiving it seems once it starts or arguably just out of the blue. I do not like this because it drains my battery and for what seems like no real benefit to me... Secondly (perhaps related to #1), 1X transmissions (calls/texts) do not come in all the time (phone calls do not come in at all or USED to not, but texts often come very late (like 1 1/2 hour). I need this fixed of course. Thirdly, my phone randomly showed "Phone as Modem" when I went into my Comm Manager the other day though I was not tethering... Very strange, but no charges on my account. I think that was just a mistake or something. Help appreciated! Slmclarengt

My phone awakes all too often for nothing. The data thing is driving me nuts; it's like my phone is constantly communicating useless data considering no e-mails or other programs are "clogging the tubes." It just suddenly comes out of sleep acting as if I hit the button to resume operations when I did nothing... It wakes up on it's own, which is frustrating on multiple grounds (battery/unnecessary usage).
Help much appreciated! Calcu's v3.6 BaseROM is ROM Slm

If data is being transmitted/received then some software you are installing or could be QuickGPS that is causing that. Disable QuickGPS to start and see, if not look at what programs you are installing that use a data connection. The 1x issue I would suggest that you update the radio to the latest v1.03.15F to start
