Sprint Digitizer

Okay. So, I need to replace a digitizer for the Sprint Diamond. Anyone know if/where they can be purchased? If not, is it possible to move the sprint hardware into the GSM housing? Or, are they not compatible like the CDMA/GSM Touch?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the CAPS locks experience. Yes, I have searched for it. Searching for the digitizer in this forum yields nothing conclusive. Searching for housing swap literally yields nothing.

I don't mean to push aside your reply, but I've been a member of this forum for quite some time. I understand the point of searching, and that alone has led me to not need to post much. The litany of "use the search button" without any proof that it yields an answer doesn't help.

Have YOU tried using the Search button? This guy is right, nothing conclusive results from the search. As for the digitizer, I know the GSM cover with the vga camera lense (is this what your talking about?) does not fit the CDMA model because it's more "square" shaped than the CDMA version, similar to the touch pro. Also, I'd assume it'd look a bit wierd with the little VGA camera whole empty...I looked on ebay but couldn't find much on CDMA version. If you look up the disassemble videos on both models the cores don't seem to match up exactly, so i'm sure somewhere the housing would interfere with the incorrect part. Sry mate, not much help.

Yeah, I knew the GSM digitizer wouldn't be much help unless I could fit the hardware into the GSM housing. Guess I'll just have to wait until some place carries the sprint digitizer, unless there's some proof that it will fit in the GSM housing.
