How do I change my SPC# ?

I have my diamond flashed to cricket already and it works great. I want to know how do I change the spc number to 000000. What program to use and what to do. I searched but did find it or missed it. I just need some simple step by step directions.

Re: How do I change my SPC# ?

I am using the spc# that was stock with phone. I would like to change it to 00000. I have check this forum and howardforum for drivers, qpst, and spc. It is a big list because all the threads have those word in it and that make it hard to find what I need.

I have download qpst but when i put the phone in diag mode...my computer is looking for a driver but can't find it. Where do I find the driver I need?

Re: How do I change my SPC# ?

You will need to use QPST to change it to "000000" but in order to use it, it will ask for the phone's current SPC. If you do not know what it is, you can use this program to retrieve it for you. Good luck.

Re: How do I change my SPC# ?

It took me awhile to figure it out because I could get much help at the time. Here's what I did:

1. Find and download the modem driver for the diamond the install on your PC.
2. I pulled up my phone via USB to computer
3. Dial ##3424#
4. Open the program in QPST that has the com port ( i forget which program) and press add port...You should see the port with your phone on it...select that one.
5. Then open service program in Qpst...enter in your original MSL#...from here you should figure it out.

I don't have the program on my computer anymore, I was going off of memory. This is a rough draft but it will be close enough.
