Keep getting email relogin

Hello all,

This happened on my original HTC Touch as well. I have set up 3 email accounts on the Diamond and every now-and-then I get prompted for password again and again and again. When I get prompted, I just hit the "Cancel" button and everything just fine. I almost get prompted once a day. Are you getting this as well and how do you fix this?

I've been getting quite a few of those lately. I also just hit cancel. Used to get them on my mogul too.

I just started getting them too. When I first got my phone I setup my yahoo account and it worked fine. Then I did some tested with my work exchange server but ended up just deleting that account all together. Then yahoo started to prompt me for username and password. I gave it a few weeks and it didnt stop so I deleted the yahoo acount and re-added it. It worked great. No prompts for about a month or 2. But just last week it started prompting me again. I only have my yahoo account setup at this time. I havent had a chance to delete the account and recreate but you guys might want to give it a shot.

I used to get this all the time but I noticed if I stopped switching to WIFI it stopped. Whenever I would be leaving my house, I'd turn off wifi and leave and 10 minutes later I'd start to get the prompts. This was with gmail. Now I never use WIFI and I never get the prompts hardly ever.

I had this problem on certain ROMs. not sure why but on Juicy's ROM I have never had this issue.

I had this problem, when i changed my password, recreate the account.

Mine has always done this with my exchange email. I wish there was a fix for this. My IT guys say that it doesn't have anything to do with the server. Why does it ask for a password when I check to remember the password? Then I hit cancel and it is fine??

Doesn't make sense to me.
