Re: Battery cover nightmare...

well, the insurance provider isn't going to stock numerous parts for the phone... all they do is order refurbs and send them out... any sprint store with a repair center should have spare battery covers though...

about the head thing... you're a girl, right? i just need to clarify for everybody involved.

Re: Battery cover nightmare...

Anyway....my point is....repair centers do not have ANY, and any repair center I called told me to call another one, and all regular stores obviously told me to call repair centers. I've gotten misc. parts from insurance before, maybe it was just chargers and stuff but I know I've requested parts for them before and they had them.

ps - Hahahhaahaha, no dude, I'm a guy, and under no circumstances do I place c*ck anywhere near my immediate self...not that there's anything wrong with that (unless you're in a public place), but it was a joke lol.

Re: Battery cover nightmare...

even imaginary head from a dude is kinda gay... lol

but yeah, the repair center near me always has parts like that. i actually got a diamond battery cover when i dropped mine from them for free. the guy gave me a few screen protectors that he had laying around too cause when the phone fell it got scuffed. and i don't have insurance.

Re: Battery cover nightmare...

wow... what was the point of this thread again... go to another sprint store/repair store and just ask them for an extra cover, i've done this 4 times now with no problem... they dont even check your insurance or lookup your account!

Funny... I just picked one up from a Sprint store here in Green Bay 20 minutes ago. I walked in, asked if I could get a spare cover, the lady said let me look in the "parts bin", and came back with one in less than 30 seconds. Have you just called the stores or gone in?

Re: Battery cover nightmare...

The point was to make a request to see if anybody will PM me to say "hey I have an extra"...which has just happened, so thank you, I have made use of the forums.

If anybody has created this exact same thread before, good for them, I need my own cover, and I'm making use of the forums. Not trying to be a **** or double post, but there have been no threads specifically saying "I need help, does anyone have a battery cover". And even if there was, I am now making my OWN request...I made a clear (though comical) request asking anybody if they have one.

***Edit: To everyone who is saying, just go to a sprint store...if any sprint store within 50 miles had one I wouldn't be posting this. I've been to every sprint store within 30ish miles of where I live and work and have called many more that are farther away. And have not gotten ONE positive response. This is all clearly outlined in my post and already we're getting multiple people saying "just go to a sprint store" or "why is this thread happening again" so just close the thread if it's gonna make people wet their pants. Somebody already pm'ed me...sheesh.

PS - I live in Boston.

Just a generally warm and friendly person. And helpful, too. Don't bother asking how I know, I can just tell!

You posted in a public forum a long rant on your frustrations and a short request for information on how to get a battery cover. And you got exactly what you wanted, answers. Members here shared that just going into a store worked for them. They explained that Assurion usually doesn't stock parts, especially for brand new phones, but rather order refurbs when needed.

Take a moment, a long, slow, deep breath, and relax. I mean, after all, it's just a battery cover that we are talking about here. I know it sucks when something breaks or is lost when it is ours, but getting angry and demanding is not going to help you in any way. We're trying to help by posting our experience, which is what you asked for. Nothing more and nothing less.
