Diamond Touch wont boot

I was in the process of installing a new ROM and it went through the process and went to reboot. It now goes to the screen where it says TOUCHdiamond and then restarts in a loop. The only way to stop it from rebooting is to remove the battery.

I did a hard reboot and I get to the screen where I can rest all settings by pressing VolUp. When I do so it tells me the restore is complete and to press VolUp to boot. Doing so, just takes me back into the eternal loop again.

I plugged it into the charger thinking maybe the battery was low, but that causes it to go into the eternal reboot again and this time taking the battery out doesn't stop it (presumably because it is running off the charger).

Can anyone help me?

By holding domn the VolDown key and the red key, I can enter the three color boot screen, if that helps.

Are you flashing from the Internal or you PC, try reinstalling the stock ROM and see if that boots

Well, I would be glad to do either one but I cannot get get the computer to connect with the phone to do either an internal flash or to flash from the PC. When it is doing the repeating boot thing, the computer doesn't see it at all. When I hold down the VolDown key and the red key, I can enter the three color boot screen and then the computer makes a noise like it sees the connection and in the white bar on the Diamond Touch it says USB, but I can't do anything else.

I would love to to be able to reinstall the stock ROM but not sure I can if I cant access it from the computer.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Flash a ROM while you have it in the bootloader (tricolour).

Since it didn't seem to recognize the phone, I didn't think that I could flash it but I decided that I probably couldn't hurt it, so I went ahead and tried.

It worked (much to my surprise!). Thanks one and all, I was seriously bumming when I thought I had bricked my brand new phone

Then you must not of noticed it changing from Serial to USB at the bottom when you plugged it in

thanx for the link I now know how to get to the tri-color screen it says

Ive downloaded the suggested sprint blue rom and ran the RUU but it didnt work because i cannot connect to active sync in the tricolor screen please someone help I dont have any other options please reply soon
